I love working with Karin + Peyton of Encounters Events - everytime we work together we have a blast!  It was a bonus to have such an amazing couple with Samantha + John. I love it when couples are open to my goofy and fun ideas - and when they ham it up - it's soo much fun!! Sam + John were engaged in Las Vegas - John snuck the ring onto Sam's desert and obviously she said yes!

They had their ceremony at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Liberytown MD, then partied it up at Stone Manor in Middletown, MD. What a beautiful day - the sky was so blue and the weather was a dream. Grapevines and sunsets are more than any photographer could ask for!

DAR Memorial Continental Hall Wedding, Washington DC

Yuna + James,   DAR Wedding

On a hot and steamy day in DC, I spent the day with Yuna and James and got to document one gorgeous wedding. They decided to see each other before the ceremony and do some pictures at Meridian Hill Park in DC on 16th Street. We then headed over to DAR where they had their ceremony outside on the patio which was absolutely amazing! DJ Daryle (AKA: DJ D-Mac) rocked the patio after dinner and toasts inside. I think we might have woken up Obama (the next door neighbor) that evening. What a fun party! Congrats to Yuna & James!

Bethesda Country Club Wedding

Carolyn + Jason

They met at work while both were executives for Bank of America. They were both on assignment abroad - Carolyn in London, Jason in Hong Kong for almost 3 years and traveled throughout Europe while they were dating. Sounds like a dream huh? Both Carolyn and Jason have magnetic personalities, you just want to get to know them when you meet them. I feel that it is an amazing priveledge to meet so many different types of people doing what I do, I love seeing such a warm and caring family come together and have such hope and optimism for the future. Jason has 2 children from a previous relationship and both Carolyn + Jason made sure this day involved them to the fullest.

The ceremony took place at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Capitol Hill then had their reception at Bethesda Country Club. We also went to Senate Park as well as the Jefferson Memorial after the ceremony and took some great shots. What an amazing day!
