Documenting your day in an artistic way....

Documenting your day in an artistic way!

I love what I do. I am honored to have the privilege to spend the day with couples who are looking for artistic and documentary style photos that represent who they are as individuals, as well as the magic they create as a couple.

Great Blog post from Evan of Mydeejay.com about questions to ask a photographer.

Rachel & Mark, June 27, 2009

Missy shot Rachel & Mark's wedding on June 27th of this year at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in DC . They hit it off right away being from Massachusetts and all - Wicked cool! (Missy and I are originally from Massachusetts!) They had a gorgeous ceremony out in the garden area of the hotel. Elizabeth from Blue Sky Films did the videography - as usual they are amazing to work with! Their band was Sound Nation. Missy raved about how good they were. They also had a cigar roller at the reception which was so cool - the girls were out there more than the guys! Their shots turned out so amazing - Missy did an incredible job!

10 x 10 Flush Album

Becky & James were married a few years back and decided to order an album. This is a flush mount digital 10 x 10. We mounted a very cool image on the cover of their hands. I used a sloppy border and printed it at about a 5 x 7 size on the cover with a white background - turned out very cool!

Morgan & Michael, June 20, 2009

Morgan & Michael were married at Dalghren Chapel on the Georgetown Campus on June 20, 2009. They are such a cute couple, both Missy and I were there to document their day.We arrived to do getting ready shots at The Four Seasons in Georgetown in a thunderstorm but it all cleared up in time for the wedding! We ran into Owen Wilson in the lobby of the hotel and tried to get a shot of him with the bride but had no luck!! The guests that were staying at the hotel were on celebrity watch all weekend because there was a film being shot in town. Missy got some amazing shots including the ring shot on the Tiffany box below. I love having 2 shooters with different locations, I think it really covers a wedding day the way it deserves to be documented!
